Reading FC Women have been given a boost ahead of their crucial FA Women’s Super League ties with Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City.

The news was revealed that Canadian international Deanne Rose is back training on grass this week according to pictures shared by the Reading FC Women Twitter account.

There was no confirmation on when Rose might return to the first team fold but if we were to speculate, posting an image of her on the training ground would suggest ‘soon’.

10th placed Reading’s mission to remain an FA WSL side looks likely to go down to the wire with crucial games against 11th placed Brighton & Hove Albion (26th March – home) and 12th placed Leicester City (2nd April – away).

Before then though the Royals have a Vitality Women’s FA Cup Quarter Final at home to Chelsea to contend with on Sunday.
