FA Women’s National League side Maidenhead United Women are taking applications for their vacant managers post with the deadline this week.

Outgoing boss Ryan Taylor led the Magpies to a record-breaking season with a highest-ever finish in the FA Women’s National League Division One South West.

As well as that highest finish, the other records the team achieved include the most clean sheets in a FAWNL league season (7), the best-ever tally of away victories in the fourth tier of women’s football (4), the fewest FAWNL defeats suffered in a season (8 – previous lowest 10), joint best-ever FAWNL points tally (24), most frugal FAWNL defensive season (32 conceded – previous best 37).

A statement on the club website said: “Maidenhead United Women are inviting applications for managerial and backroom vacancies as we play towards season 2022/23 in the fourth-tier FA Women’s National League Division 1 South West.

“Closing date for application is Wednesday 25th May and you can apply by sending your CV and any other supporting information to mulfc_fixtures@hotmail.com
