Wallingford Town’s Callum Young has been nominated for a Berkshire Football Award in the Eddie Stobart Player of the Season category.
The nomination received said: “Callum has been ever-present this season for Wallingford Town in the heart of the defence, his ability is second to none. Callum has been involved in the amazing 3rd round Vase run, the epic play off final win against hilltop to secure promotion to step 5. His efforts have not gone unnoticed as has attracted attention from higher leagues, not for the first time. He has a very close relationship with his current manager, when questioned on this, he said “Lee is special, he has always been loyal to me, I owe him everything” Callum certainly does deserve this award.”
