Mark Scott, the Bracknell Town goalkeeper has revealed he is looking for a new challenge.

The former Slough Town stopper was a huge part of the Robins’s success over the past few seasons and started 2021/22 as the number one for Bracknell in the Isthmian League.

However, he suffered a muscle injury in the Emirates FA Cup tie at Burgess Hill Town and found himself behind Michael Eacott in the pecking order after Bobby Wilkinson signed the Sutton Common Rovers man.

Writing on Twitter, Scott said: “I have decided it’s time for a new goalkeeping challenge while I’m still young enough.

“Thank you Kayne, gaffer, lads and fans for their support over the four seasons, I have always been treated well and felt part of the Bracknell Town family. I wish them nothing but success.”

Scott started out with Swindon Town and played 95 times for Slough Town during the Rebel’s climb back up the divisions but suffered a serious neck injury during a game against Basingstoke Town in 2017.
