Long-time Bracknell Town fan Steve Witty has been nominated for a Berkshire Football Award in the Ascot Sports Bar Supporter of the Season category.
Witty has been a regular at Larges Lane and now Bottom Meadow for several decades, something made even more impressive given he now lives 90 minutes away from the club.
One nomination for Mr Witty said: “Steve follows Bracknell Town home and away which in itself is nothing unusual but he lives an hour and a half from Bracknell so even home games involve a three hour round trip. Away games even longer.”

Another added: “Steve has been a supporter of Bracknell Town FC for many years and always welcomes new people and fans to the club. He has been part of our unofficial club podcast which goes from strength to strength.”
