The 2021/22 FA Trophy First Round draw has been released and given Berkshire clubs Binfield and Bracknell Town home ties.

Anyone hoping for a Berkshire derby in the First Round had their hopes dashed, but for Binfield in particular, it’s a welcome return for cup football to Hill Farm Lane after more than a year of national competition away days that has taken them to Derbyshire and repeatedly, Kent since an FA Cup tie against AFC Totton in 2020.

Bracknell will welcome the winners of the rearranged Third Qualifying Round fixture between Tiverton Town and Swindon Supermarine after that game was postponed on Saturday while Binfield will host Gloucestershire side Cinderford Town who beat Thatcham Town on penalties.

The Moles opponents have a new management team in place who are due to take their first game in charge of Cinderford on Saturday.
