10 Berkshire sides are currently in the hat for the 2021/22 FA Vase First Round Proper draw subject to the weekend’s Second Qualifying Round fixtures.

Among them, Ascot United and Windsor will be keen to emulate decent runs of the recent past and perhaps follow Berkshire sides Binfield and Thatcham Town all the way to the final at Wembley Stadium.

Prior to that though and Saturday’s fixtures there are a further seven rounds to negotiate before the final takes place on Sunday 22nd May 2022, so there’s a long way to go yet before those Wembley dreams can become a little more realistic.

So when is the FA Vase First Round Proper draw?

Football in Berkshire asked the FA for details of the draw, and a spokesperson replied: “As guidance, this draw is scheduled to take place at 13:00 on Monday 27 September.”
