Ascot United star Harry Laflin sits atop the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division North goalscoring charts so far this season with eight goals in eight appearances across all competitions.

The forward has six in the league and two in cup competitions and is on the brink of becoming the clubs second highest top scorer with just two more required on his current total of 60 – although there’s some way to go to overhaul the club’s record goalscorer Jon Bennett who has 171.

Laflin is closely followed in the scoring charts by Windsor’s Lindell Stewart who has seven overall this season and who in fact would be top if we were looking at CCL goals only.

Rounding out the top five so far are Southall duo Darreon Mark and Anthony O’Connor with six each, and North Greenford United’s Harvey Killeen and Joseph Mills as well as Novell Sony-Bruce of Edgware Town with five each.

In Division One, Rob Hastings of Rayners Lane leads the way with seven goals in 9 while Michael Croker (Chalvey Sports) and Ricardo Benjamin (Wallingford Town) are fourth and fifth with six and five goals respectively.

To round things out, in the Premier Division South Jordan Gallagher of Raynes Park Vale has eight in seven and both Jordan Adeyemi (Guildford City) and Sol Solomon (Jersey Bulls) have seven each.

We’re unsure of the reality of the division’s top scorer though in Alex Nunes who reportedly has 80 in nine for Colliers Wood United.
