1. Tilehurst Panthers vs Abingdon United

Southern Region Women’s Football League Subsidiary Cup

With their seasons curtailed by the FA, it looked like they might not see competitive football until the 2021/22 season kicked off. However, SRWFL confirmed a Subsidiary Cup would commence with the competition starting last weekend. Tilehurst are gifted the chance at a taste of the Premier Division as they face the league leaders Abingdon United, sure to be a feisty watch. Woodley United Ladies are also in their first fixture action of the cup as they’re away to Abbey Rangers.

2. Mortimer Ladies vs S4K FC Berks County Ladies

Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League Division 3 South

Our most populated Berkshire division in the league and this game is set to be a cracker as first place S4K travel to second spot Mortimer. Last time the pair met, Mortimer saw out a 4-0 win in the September sunshine and it looks like conditions will be much the same during tomorrow’s encounter. S4K sit top of the table at current, but Mortimer find themselves with three games in hand and an impressive 38 GD. Who will triumph?

Alfred Palmer Memorial Field, West End Road, Mortimer Common, RG7 3TW, Sunday, 2pm. Please check with the host club before travelling.

3. Goring United Ladies vs Shinfield Rangers Women

Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League Development Division

Shinfield are one of the newbies to the TVCWFL this season and despite sitting third in the table they’ve had a bumpy start to the year. However, they find themselves in good form since the return from lockdown with a point to prove against top of the table Goring United Ladies, after their first meeting of the season resulted in a home walkover for the Oxfordshire based club. Could they cause an upset as Goring race with Yateley for promotion and a game in hand?
