In what is almost a carbon copy of the start of the 2019/20 season for Wokingham & Emmbrook, the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One side will now play their opening league game of the season at home to AFC Aldermaston on Friday night (ko 7:45pm).

The fixture had been scheduled for Saturday at the Atom Men’s home, the Rec Soc but the West Berkshire side have confirmed the switch on social media.

Last season, the Sumas came away with a 2-0 win in the first match to be played back at Lowther Road after nearly two nomadic decades playing at grounds in Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The game is the second Division One East fixture on Friday night with Langley bringing Abingdon United to their new home of Arbour Park, also the home of Slough Town and division rivals Chalvey Sports.
