It might have a been a tough season on the pitch for Reading City in their first season, but off the pitch the club have certainly made strides off it with a nomination for a Bracknell Football Award in the Best Website or Social Media category.

Simon Jones’ side finished 18th in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division during 2018/19 avoiding relegation with some hard working performances – something the clubs twitter account has captured come good result or bad with goals gifs and post match reaction.

Comments on their nomination say: “Reading City have done an excellent job this season in their rebranding and subsequent social posts. They always tweet about their young teams which is great to see. Even after all the changes throughout the season they still remain positive and encouraging of people to go to and support the team.”
