Fresh from having Ascot United in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup Final and Binfield in the Floodlit Cup Final, Football in Bracknell has a final of its own this season.
Thanks to you, our readers we’ve been shortlisted for the Football Blogging Awards 2019 in the category of Best Non League Creator category.
We received the news on Tuesday evening and it was embargoed until lunchtime today.
It goes without saying that without the photography of Neil Graham, Richard Claypole, Rob Mack, Richard Milam, Peter Toft and Simon Bryce as well as regular article contributions from Tony Hardy, Steve Gabb, Rob Davies and Matt Smith that Darrell and I would be nowhere near this award.
I’m incredibly grateful to all those people (and we’re always looking for more) for their contributions and turning what was a bit of a punt to see if people were interested back in 2016 to something read by 15,000 people a month in 2019.
We go now to the Etihad for the ‘final’ and we’re looking forward to finding out who we’re up against.
In the meantime we need your votes again to get us across the line. Here’s how you can vote for us:
