Bracknell based Thames Valley Premier League side Berks County have been given the toughest opening possible when the division kicks off on Saturday 20th August.

County – who finished thirteenth of fourteen sides in the top division last season – will open up at home to the reigning champions Reading YMCA before a midweek home tie with Hurst at the John Nike Stadium.

Richard Lloyd’s side will then face matches with Cookham Dean, Taplow United and Woodcote Stoke Row to open the season.

Where to watch Berks County

County play their first team games at the John Nike Stadium, otherwise known as Bracknell Sport Centre off South Hill Road.

Familiar faces?

The club have a few familiar names in their list of players on the FA’s full-time website including former Ascot United and Bracknell Town midfielder Sam Dennison, as well as former Bracknell youth teamer Zak Spencer.

According to the same site, the club have lost top scorer Josh Dillon who scored 18 goals last season but seven goal Jonathan Gosnell has been retained.
