Bracknell Town vs Thatcham Town is the big local match of the Bank Holiday weekend as the Hellenic League Premier Division’s two promoted sides prepare to meet in the Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Challenge Cup Final.
The match at Windsor’s Stag Meadow – not to be confused with the cancelled Supplementary Cup Final – will see the league’s best two sides fight it out for the last major Hellenic title they’ll compete for, hopefully for the foreseeable future.
Bracknell have had two days additional rest since their league exertions finished with an 8-0 demolition at home to Tuffley Rovers while Thatcham will look to bounceback from the disappointment of losing to Binfield in the Floodlit Cup Final on Monday.

Ferdinand
You can bet that Liam Ferdinand will start this one, the former Bracknell forward has been cup tied for Thatcham’s Floodlit Cup run, and will also miss out on the showpiece FA Vase Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 20th May having appeared for the Robins earlier in the season.
Two fixtures during next week will see the Reading Senior Cup finalists confirmed with Woodley United and Wokingham & Emmbrook both in the hat. Woodley host Thames Valley Police on Wednesday night at Scours Lane while Wokingham visit Highmoor Ibis at the same venue on Thursday night.
As ever, please check with the host club before you travel. Links on the home teams indicate we have an away day guide available to help plan your trip.
