Combined Counties North side Virginia Water have announced that they are to move away from their current base at Slough Town’s Arbour Park.
The club had moved to Slough after spending a few years under a similar arrangement at Stag Meadow in Windsor.
The primary driver for the move is that the Football Association want to discourage three clubs from sharing the same ground. Slough Town already host Berkshire club Langley at Arbour Park.
Following the FA’s withdrawal of sanction for 3-way Ground Share Agreements, VWFC will not be renewing their contract with Slough Town FC at the end of the season…
VWFC would like to thank Ashley, Kay, Adie, and all the staff at ST for their excellent hospitality and support during our stay. As one Chapter closes, another begins, and VWFC are delighted to announce that from the 2026/27 season our new landlords will be Chertsey Town FC…
We are looking forward to working with Mark and the team at CTFC, and thanking them for hosting us. Ceri Jones CEO – Virginia Water FC

Waters will share at Chertsey Town’s Alwyns Lane ground from the 2026/2027 season. Chertsey currently host Step 7 club Dial Square. We understand that Dial Square will be moving to share with Knaphill FC next season.
There is a current planning application in place for Virginia Water FC to play at a purpose built ground near their home town. Chertsey feels like a much closer and sensible venue for Waters rather than the longer trek to Slough, although the move will mean playing on grass rather than 3G.
Virginia Water have had a very solid season and sit 11th in Combined Counties Premier North.
