Bracknell Town ownership: Kayne Steinborn-Busse to step down after Chertsey Town game

Robins chairman announces decision to step down and hand chairmanship to Dan Harris

Bracknell Town FC has announced a leadership change and new ownership structure as the club enters its 130th year.

Chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse will step down following Saturday’s match against Chertsey Town, saying he has achieved his goals of stabilising operations and completing key ground improvements after returning to the role at Bracknell Town in April 2025. He will remain involved in an advisory capacity, subject to approval from The Football Association and league authorities.

As part of the transition, a new company, Bracknell 1896 Ltd, has been formed, with Jude Steinborn-Busse becoming its sole shareholder. Dan Harris has been appointed chairman.

The club has also engaged Alexander Jarvis of Blackbridge Sports LLC to explore strategic investment opportunities, drawing on experience that includes work with Truro City FC.

Club officials said football operations and community programmes will continue unchanged during the transition.
