Wokingham Town to celebrate the life of ‘boss’ Clive McNelly

Wokingham Town will celebrate the life of a club stalwart on Saturday 21st December with the visit of Bedfont Sports.

Clive McNelly sadly passed away at the start of December and the club have confirmed Saturdays Combined Counties League fixture will be in honour of their former manager, secretary and brilliant volunteer.

All proceeds are going to the Clive McNelly Memorial Fund which will then go to a chosen charity.

Close friend and fellow Suma stalwart Mark Ashworth said: “Clive always called me The Boss but he was The Real Boss. Please come and celebrate Clive and all he stood for – The Sumas at Home!”

Wokingham Town vs Bedfont Sports (3pm) at Lowther Road on Saturday 21st December.
