A number of players and manager Dan Goodall have departed Combined Counties League Division One, according to a series of social media posts.

Top scorer Will May has announced his departure from the club while ‘veteran’ Charlie Oakley also departs. May played 20 times for the Boars this season scoring 10 goals.

May wrote on Twitter: “Following yesterday’s news Eversley & California I will be leaving the club. Looking to get straight back to it. 16 goals so far this season. Step 5 or competitive Step 6 club.”

Judging by the replies to May’s post, he will not be short of offers for the rest of the season.

Manager Goodall took over the reigns in the summer after a fourth placed finish last season. At the time of writing this season the Boars were 11th in the table but with games in hand on all but Windsor & Eton above them in the table.

Assistant manager Josh Woodcock and player/coach Jack Cleevely have also announced their departures.
