Combined Counties League Division One Windsor have announced their new manager after the departure of Mick Woodham.
Windsor have appointed Diogo Nobre as the new First Team manager as the club looks to bounce back following relegation from Step 5 last season.
The club will play the 2023/24 season at Beaconsfield Town where Diogo was part of The Rams coaching setup.
A statement released by owner Kevin Stott said: “We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Diogo Nobre as Windsor FC’s First Team Manager, having previously been part of the Beaconsfield Town coaching team. Diogo who hails from Portugal holds a UEFA A Coaching License and brings with him an extensive CV of coaching and management experience in both the UK and abroad with a particular emphasis on developing young talent.
“Previous Coaching and Management roles include time spent at Enfield Town FC and Wingate &
Finchley in the UK; First Team Coach for Casa Pia Atletico Clube Portugal in the Portuguese National
Championship and First Team and Academy Manager at Peimari United in the Finnish Second Division.”
At under 18 level, Windsor have confirmed that managers Ben Warren and Adam Sams are leaving after five years. The team finished third in the Allied Counties Youth League East Division last season.
