Combined Counties League Division One side AFC Aldermaston have announced some changes to the backroom staff of boss Dave Tuttle.

The former Tottenham Hotspur defender has brought in Zuf Ashgar, the man behind Singh Sabha Slough’s 2020/21 East Berks Football League Premier Division title win and promoted Liam Springer to the role of first team player/coach.

An announcement on the Atom Men’s Facebook page said: “Following pre-season training last night AFC Manager Dave Tuttle is pleased to announce the following management team for our Combined Counties Division One season.

“We are pleased to announce and welcome Zuf Asghar as Assistant Manager to the club. Zuf has joined the club from Singh Sabha Slough FC.

“Hamzah Collins is retained as 1st Team Coach, Liam Springer has stepped up to 1st Team Player/Coach, Matt Desay is retained as Goalkeeper Coach/Kit Man and Mark Pizzey is retained as Coach/Player Liaison.

“Welcome to the club Zuf and we look forward to the season ahead and working together!”
