Ascot United are set to host a tournament for u15’s teams this weekend. The tournament is penned in for this Saturday June 26th and kicks off at 1pm.

Teams are to consist of 6-a-side with a maximum squad size of eight. The tournament itself will consist of a round robin league with the top 4 to semis and a final the day. It will be played on the 3G at the home of Ascot, The Raceground.

The tournament will be hosted by Ascot Diamonds who will field two teams, the Yellows and Whites. They will be joined by Cumnor Minors who bring two teams, Kidlington, Maidenhead and Thatcham Tornadoes.

Ascot boast eight girl’s youth teams from under 10’s to under 15’s successfully playing across the Berkshire County Girl’s Football League with both the Diamonds and Sapphires winning their respective divisions this season.

A huge congratulations is also in order for no less than three of the Diamonds players who this week signed for academies. Stella Villalta will go to Arsenal whilst Bella Cox and Emily McMaster secure places with our local elite side Reading FC.
