Sandhurst Town have announced the appointment of former Reading FC striker Lea Barkus as interim manager.
Barkus will replace the duo of Ian Selley and Ryan Northmore in the dugout at Bottom Meadow after the pair departed at the start of March.
A social media post from the Fizzers said: “April 5th 2021, Lea Barkus appointed interim manager Sandhurst Town FC for the remainder of the 2020/21 season to help guide us through the Combined Counties League Premier Challenge Cup and the Fripp-Smith Trophy.”

Barkus is currently first team coach at Bracknell Town but will move to his new role until the end of the season.
A statement on the Sandhurst website revealed a new manager will then take over in Matt Cronan, with Barkus returning to his role at Bracknell.
