MUSA, the Maidenhead United Supporters Association have a range of new Magpies merchandise available with one item catching the eye of the more childish members of the Football in Berkshire team.
Yes, you guessed it, the ‘Bellenders’ beanie hat has had us chuckling away like 10-year-olds, but it’s not just a marketing gimmick.
Well, it is, but it’s not been plucked out of thin air.
Arguably the most recognisable area of the clubs York Road ground, the stand with the distinctive black and white panels painted on, backs on to Bell Street, as Jamie Buckland explains: “The terrace behind the goal on Bell Street is affectionately known as The Bell End, and we have our chant of “Please don’t take my Bell End away!”
The beanies are priced very reasonably at £12, with a new commemorative 150-year pin (£4) and new polo shirts available. Further details are available, including how to purchase, on the Maidenhead United Fans Page on Facebook here.
