Uhlsport Hellenic League side Holmer Green are looking for a new manager just six games in to the new league season.

Green have picked up five points from their opening six games of the campaign but were knocked out of the FA Cup by Shrivenham in an Extra Preliminary Round replay penalty shoot out and the Vase, 1-0 at home to Raunds Town.

The Buckinghamshire club were transferred across to the Hellenic League for the start of 2018/19 after 23 seasons as a Spartan South Midlands League club, finishing 12th of 19 sides.

A statement on the Holmer Green website said: “Holmer Green FC confirm the resignation of First Team Manager Dave Lynch. Dave took over from long serving manager Chris Allen in the Summer. We are very grateful to Dave for his efforts in developing the senior squad and wish him well in the future.”
