Maidenhead United’s first game of the season will be televised live on BT Sport, the club have announced.

The Magpies will face newly promoted Stockport County, who beat Chorley to the National League North title last season.

This will be the third meeting between the two sides, who last met during the Third Round of the FA Trophy last year. Ryan Upward’s header forced a replay at Edgeley Park, where the Hatters would go on to win 3-2 in extra time.

The game will now take place at 12:30pm, and will be the very first game of what looks to be an exciting season. The full fixture list for the Magpies can be found here.
