Bracknell Town Development Team managers to leave club

The Robins were runners up in the Suburban League Central Division this season

Bracknell Town will be looking for new managers for their development team next season after the sides bosses stood down.

Rob Creech and Andy Findlay – managers of the side for last season – confirmed on twitter that they had both resigned from the club this week.

The pair managed Henley Town toward the end of the 2016/17 season and stepped up to manage the Development side at Larges Lane over the summer. Findlay in particular was a former player at Bracknell.

Findlay was the first to break the news, tweeting: “Always difficult when you are involved at such a great club as Bracknell Town to make a decision to resign, however today I have made that decision to enable me to review my situation for next season. A massive thanks to the players, management, board and fans for last season.”

Rob Creech says in his post he had turned down an offer to stay at Larges Lane. He said: “After a difficult decision as to take Bracknell Town offer to stay at the club, I’ve decided to stay true to what I believe is my pathway and move on, had a great time at what is a great club with fantastic people involved, thanks to all the staff and players.”

It was a successful season for the duo in managing the Robins second string. Flackwell Heath pipped them to the Suburban League Central Division title by three points and they led the first team on several occasions during the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup campaign. We look forward to finding out where both men choose to continue their managerial careers.
