Cherry Red Records Combined Counties Premier Division North side Windsor have announced that James Pritchard has joined the clubs management team under Mark Cooper.
Pritchard will be a familiar name in non-league circles having represented Marlow where he made over 300 appearances as well as Maidenhead United and Slough Town in midfield on the pitch, as well as forging a successful career as a manager off it.
A statement released by the Royalists online said: “We’re delighted to announce that James Pritchard has come in as our new Assistant Manager, replacing Spencer Meredith, who’s moved on to focus on his expanding business.”
A former manager of Beaconsfield Town and Flackwell Heath, Pritchard’s managerial achievements also include leading Penn & Tylers Green to two Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East titles between 2015 and 2017 – the most successful league spell in the clubs modern history.
He then subsequently lead Marlow United to the Thames Valley Premier League title in 2018/19.
The Windsor statement continued: “James had an excellent playing career at Marlow and Maidenhead among others before successfully going on to manage Flackwell, Penn, Marlow Utd and Beaconsfield. Welcome to the club Jim!”
