Connor Hall is an English footballer who plays for Chorley in Vanarama National League North on loan from National League side, Woking.
After he progressed through non-league football in Berkshire with the likes of Binfield, Eldon Celtic and Ascot United, Hall earned himself a move to Football League side Sheffield United in 2015. Just one year later, Hall had signed professional terms with the Blades along with fellow academy players including current number one goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
In September 2016, Hall joined Northern Premier Division One South side Sheffield on a three-month loan deal. He made his debut in Sheffield’s 4-2 home win over Rugby Town.
The forward registered his first goal in Sheffield’s 3-0 home victory over Basford United. Having opened his account for the club, Hall went on to net 12 more times for Sheffield, scoring four in their 5-2 win against Northwich Victoria.
After his time at Sheffield came to an end, Hall enjoyed brief stints at Mickleover Sports and Woking next, before signing permanently for Championship side Bolton Wanderers on a one-year contract in July 2017 and subsequently signed a two year contract.
On May 6, 2018, after netting 22 times during the 2017/18 u23 campaign, Hall was rewarded with the Bolton Wanderers Young Player of the Year award. He was released from Bolton in the summer of 2020 and returned to Woking on a one-year deal and since October, the forward has been playing for Chorley on loan where he scored the winning goal in the FA Cup Second Round win at Peterborough United.
Hall’s remarkable FA Cup form continued on Saturday 9th January when he scored in Chorley’s 2-0 2020/21 Third Round win over Championship Derby County, who were managed by former England captain Wayne Rooney.
