Long time friend of the club CHRIS CAMPBELL has been made head coach of Seaford Rangers Ladies.

Campbell (pictured back row right), who previously via his company hosted and built the clubs website emigrated to Australia in 2011 with partner Lisa.

He quickly became involved with his local side in Adelaide after leaving Bracknell and took on responsibilities with the ladies side who narrowly missed out on the Championship on goal difference this season.

At Bracknell, Chris was regularly seen running the turnstile at Larges Lane on match days and running popular fundraising disco and karaoke sessions for the club.

Chris said “The Women’s season is now over.  It came down to the last game of the season.  We chose the most important game to choke and lost.  We could have been champs but the tightness of the division meant we finished fourth on goal difference.

“Really excited now though to have now been appointed head coach for next season and I’m already making plans to win the league in style with the help of some Barcelona training videos and a Subbuteo board.”

BTFC would like to congratulate Chris on his appointment and we look forward to hearing more through the season.
