The football season is fully underway now and that also means that so is the non-league “transfer market”. It should perhaps be mentioned that no real money is changing hands, but clubs are often looking for players to strengthen their squads as others are looking for first team football elsewhere.

Matt Lench of Slough Town has signed on for Virginia Water as he looks to regain his fitness after injury. He played 45 minutes for Waters in their midweek fixture. It’s a familiar environment for Lench as Virginia Water share with Slough Town at Arbour Park.

Elsewhere Oliver Graham of Berks County moves to Windsor & Eton, while Luke Van Spall who scored six goals in 21 appearances for Windsor & Eton is now at Woodley United. Reading City’s William Shaw has made the short trip down the M4 to Holyport.
