Weymouth part company with Bobby Wilkinson

Vanarama National League South side Weymouth have parted company with manager Bobby Wilkinson.

After a miraculous last day survival last season, Wilkinson had the Terras firmly in mid table this time around, but it seems the two parties have parted company.

An incredibly brief statement on Weymouth’s website said: “Weymouth Football Club and Bobby Wilkinson regret to announce that they have parted company by mutual consent.

“The club would like to thank Bobby for his efforts in achieving “the great escape” last season and in progressing the team forward in National League South this season, and wishes him every success in the future.”

The Terras also confirmed Mike Percival, Lee Barkus, and Chris Humphries had left the club.

Wilkinson is highly regarded as a manager in Berkshire, he took Hungerford Town to the National League South – the highest the club had ever competed, and turned Bracknell Town into Step 4 title winners playing Juggernaut football.
