Chalvey Sports and Mortimer are among the sides to have learned their fate following the publication of the Thames Valley Premier League constitution. Although the constitution remains to be fully confirmed it’s likely to be largely correct.

The Stabmonks have been placed in the TVPL Premier Division while Mortimer have been relegated from the top tier along with Woodley United Royals.

Champions Finchampstead will look to win a third successive title and will be joined by SB Phoenix and Slough Heating Laurencians in the Premier after both were promoted from Division One.

Cookham Dean make a welcome return to the league, joining Division Two while Windlesham & Chobham in the Premier Division have changed the clubs name to Windlesham United and FC Imann Lions are now Allied Community Elite.

Other new clubs involved in the league for the 22/23 season include AFC Winkfield Reserves, Burghfield ‘A’, Reading City U18, Binfield U23 and Marlow Royals Hedsor.

Sadly Robertswood, White Eagles and Rotherfield United have withdrawn from the Thames Valley League and it remains to be seen whether they pop up in another Saturday league locally.
