The season might be done for a lot of sides this season but that doesn’t mean there’s not still games to play. Here’s a little look at what is left in the 2021/22 season

FA Women’s Super League

Reading FC Women have two games left in the FA WSL against Leicester City (A) on Sunday 1st May and home to Manchester City at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Sunday 8th May.

Sandhurst Town, Berks County, Woodley United and Chalvey Sports all have cup games to come in the Division One Cup. The former three all have Quarter Final ties while Chalvey are due to play British Airways on 3rd May for the right to play Woodley.

Southern Combination Challenge Cup

This is at the Semi-Final stage but is awaiting a result from the Quarter Final between Reading City and Cobham with either Ashford Town (Middlesex), Sheerwater or Fleet Town lying in wait.

Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Men’s Cup Final

Arbour Park beckons for Reading FC and Ascot United in the Senior Cup Final this season. The match takes place on Saturday 7th May at 3pm.

Thames Valley Premier League run-in

There are still games to go, promotions and relegations to be sealed across the Thames Valley Premier League season so keep an eye on the league’s Full Time page for details.

East Berks League Cup Finals

The Presidents Cup Final is Hype Train vs AFC Cressex on the 7th May at Burnham FC. The League Trophy Final is on the 27th April between AFC Winkfield Reserves vs Pundit FC (6pm) at Burnham FC.

Combined Counties League Division One play-offs

There are still a couple of games left in the division to play before play-offs are arranged for the teams in second to fifth. That should include Wallingford Town and Eversley & California although the latter will have to nervously await the outcome of Kensington & Ealing Borough’s final two games of the season.

At the other end, Chalvey Sports will be desperate for a final day win to avoid bottom spot, but face already crowned champions London Lions. Finishing bottom puts the Stabmonks in danger of a return to step 7.
