Bracknell Town have beefed up their midfield with the addition of former Maidenhead United and Staines Town midfielder Dan Brown.
Brown spent last season with Evo Stik Southern League Premier Division side Beaconsfield Town, where he helped the Rams to 12th place – the highest finish since the club was formed out of the merger of Beaconsfield United and Slough YCOB in 1994.
A brief statement on Bracknell’s twitter account said: “We are pleased to announce experienced midfielder Daniel Brown has joined us from Beaconsfield Town FC for the 2019/20 Season.”
A message from the official Beaconsfield Town twitter account said: “Good luck to Dan Brown. Has been a good player for us but more importantly, a top man and true gentleman.”

Brown – who was playing in the level above with Beaconsfield – will be vying for a central midfield berth alongside two returning Robins in Harrison Bayley and Kensley Maloney.
He is also a player manager Sam Lock knows well from his time at Maidenhead where he played in what was then the Conference South. Speaking to Football in Berkshire Lock said: ” I know Dan very well from my time at Maidenhead. A great character for the dressing room with bags of experience. Big strong and wants to get to get the ball down and play.”
