Three Bracknell Town players make Bostik League team of the season

Trio named in unofficial team of the season by twitter account

It’s been a successful first season back at step 4 for Bracknell Town, and now three players have made an unofficial team of the season.

Twitter account @toptargets has placed striker Liam Ferdinand (also a Bracknell Football Award nominee), centre back Joe Gater and right back Dave Hancock have all been listed in the eleven, though goalkeeper Mark Scott has been omitted in place of Hayes & Yeading United’s Jack Smith to the surprise of Bracknell supporters in the Football in Bracknell WhatsApp group.

As well as Bracknell and Hayes, players from Cheshunt, Westfield and Tooting & Mitcham United have also been included.

Bracknell have one game left this weekend to secure second place and home advantage in the Bostik League South Central play offs when they host Ashford Town (Middlesex) at Larges Lane.

Full list of the final weekends fixtures are here.
