Weather permitting there are three games of interest to the East Berkshire footballing community this midweek, all on Tuesday night after Monday’s Binfield vs Windsor Hellenic Premier Division clash was postponed.
Ascot United might have scored eight goals in two games but the Yellamen’s revival will face it’s sternest test when fifth placed Flackwell Heath head to Ascot Racecourse.
Flackwell’s form has been good, but a postponement on Saturday when they were due to travel to Lydney Town meant there was no opportunity to bounce back from a 5-1 defeat to Thatcham Town four days prior and will need to be wary of providing to many opportunities to Ascot’s in form striker Ben Harris.

Elsewhere, Woodley United will be in the last four of the Berks & Bucks County Cup if they can find a way past Thatcham. The Kestrels have already beaten higher division Beaconsfield Town on their way to the last eight so Thatcham will underestimate James Anderson’s side at their peril.
In Division 1 East there’s a tasty looking tie as well as AFC Aldermaston head across county to face promotion chasing Virginia Water at Windsor’s Stag Meadow ground.
Aldermaston have shown marked improvement in their last three league games but went out of the Maidenhead & Norfolkian Cup on Saturday to Old Windsor, Virgina Water on the other are looking to close the gap on Bicester Town at the top of the division – a win would narrow it to two points with a game in hand.
All Tuesday nights fixtures:

Berks & Bucks Senior Cup Quarter Final
