Following Saturday’s euphoric Berks & Bucks FA County Intermediate Cup Semi-Final victory on penalties, it’s back to league action tonight when Woodley United host Headington Amateurs in a 2nd vs 3rd battle.

The sides both have 30 points, nine below leaders Penn & Tylers Green, and are separated only by Headington’s better goal difference.

The teams played the reverse fixture in October and Danny Horscroft’s solitary first half strike was enough to see United return to Berkshire with all three points.

It’s extremely tough to pick a winner this evening.

Woodley played last Tuesday when they beat Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the cup before this past weekend’s semi-final whilst Amateurs have not played since 14th January so are very well rested which maybe gives them an ever so slight edge.

Kick-off is 7.45pm at Rivermoor Stadium.
