The weekends football programme locally which includes a derby between Woodley United and Finchampstead, as well as Bracknell Town’s continued title challenge will depend heavily on the weather over the weekend.
The BBC weather website is reporting temperatures of -2 degrees celsius overnight on Friday until 9am,
Saturday
It is expected to be a sunny afternoon but wrapping up warm will be the order of the day with temperatures not expected to get above 2 degrees, and will quickly drop to -1 between 4pm and 6pm in the afternoon.
There shouldn’t be any trouble at Larges Lane with Bracknell’s home fixture against Lydney Town on the artificial pitch.

Sunday
Temperatures below freezing will continue over Saturday night in to Sunday. It’s a fair bet that Bracknell’s Sunday League teams will find many a frozen pitch across the borough with the temperature reaching 1 degree in time for the 10.30am kick-offs.
There’s better news for the ladies fixtures in the afternoon with the sun out much of the day, albeit with the temperature at only 4 degrees.
As with all matches this weekend, if you are heading to a game wrap up warm and please check with the club you are attending before travel to check the game is going ahead.
