It was a mixed bag of fortunes for Ascot United and Bracknell Town in Saturday’s Buildbase FA Vase First Round, with the Yellamen scoring the winner in the 96th minute at Hollands & Blair in Gillingham and Bracknell Town suffering two red cards, two penalties conceded and a 4-1 defeat at Croydon.
