Liverpool Women confirmed on their Twitter that Natasha Dowie will return to Reading Women after her loan spell move to the Reds in January.
A number of Reading fans were shocked by the move at the time with many considering it a switch to a direct rival as the two sat in similar positions in the table. Liverpool however pulled away from the Royals and eventually finished seventh.
Dowie scored three goals and totalled one assist during her second stint at the club.
A fan favourite in RG2, she will be a welcome return to the newly-relegated squad.
