Former Bracknell Town midfielder Kensley Maloney made his debut for Binfield on Saturday after departing the BetVictor Isthmian League side.

Maloney – who was in his second spell at Larges Lane – started for the Moles in their 2-1 win over Holmer Green in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday.

The Moles were a goal down after 15 minutes but fought back through goals from Josh Helmore and Asa Povey.

Maloney – a crowd favourite at Larges Lane – began the season with Harrow Borough after several successful seasons with Bracknell, but rejoined the club in November.

The tricky midfielder – who played 12 times for Bracknell this season scoring once – announced his departure from the Robins on Friday, tweeting: “Not the biggest fan of twitter speeches but… I’ve decided to move on and just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone at Bracknell Town FC especially the fans who show me ridiculous amounts of love!”
