Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Reading City have announced two departures from the Rivermoor on Monday evening.
The first departure was confirmed on the clubs twitter page as left back Devonn Reid who has joined BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side Marlow.
Reid played six times scoring twice for the Citizens this season having joined from Division One East side AFC Aldermaston in the summer.
Speaking to the clubs website, manager Simon Johnson said: “Devonn has moved on to Marlow which is a great move for him, going to step 4. I wish Devonn every success at his new club.”
The second departure is striker Yashwa Romeo who announced his retirement from playing after nine appearances for the Scours Lane side.
City’s twitter account confirmed former Marlow and Maidenhead United striker Romeo had departed to take up a role as assistant manager at Isthmian League Northwood, bringing an end to an illustrious career in front of goal.
Citizens boss Johnson has brought in several new faces in recent weeks including striker Mitchell Parker who returned to the club after spells with Basingstoke Town, Bracknell Town and Hartley Wintney while left back Nico Cammock has joined from AFC Aldermaston.
