On Thursday evening Bracknell Town midfielder Kensley Maloney announced via twitter that he would be leaving the club.
The popular midfielder has been a first team regular with the Robins for three seasons and has been an integral member of a very successful group. He was voted Supporters Player of the Season in 2017/2018 and chants of “Kensleys on fire” were often heard from the Larges Lane faithful.
Kensley Maloney first played for Bracknell Town in the 2015/2016 season and made 119 appearances for the Robins, scoring 17 times along the way.

His most memorable goal for Bracknell is perhaps one of his first for the club when he scored a magnificent late winner in a 3-2 victory over local rivals Binfield at Larges Lane.
Maloney stated in his twitter message that he intends to test himself at a higher level. There should be no shortage of suitors for Maloney who always looked like he had an extra second on the ball to his opponents.
Bracknell Town FC were quick to thank Maloney for his time at the club with the following message:
Everyone at the club would like to thank @KensleyMaloney for his contribution over the last 3 seasons however his journey at the Lane has come to an end. All the best such a great guy on and off the field. #GOODLUCKKENS
