Towering centre back and happiest man in football Justin Clayton has again signed on the dotted line for BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town.
The big defender returned toward the end of last season without making an appearance but was influential in the Robins 2017/18 run to the FA Vase Quarter Finals until injury caught up with him.
Clayton – who has also played for Binfield and Ascot United, made just 11 appearances in the 17/18 season but that was enough to endear him to supporters – and frankly us!
As well as Clayton, Bracknell confirmed the return of striker Shane Cooper-Clark after a successful spell away with Thatcham Town and the additions of Elliott Legg, Ousman Darboe from Reading City and Geoff Kibaki from Ascot United.
Darboe played twice for Wantage Town in the Hellenic League Premier last season before joining Reading where he played 17 times scoring seven goals. Kibaki made 35 appearances for Ascot scoring four goals.
Bracknell now look well stocked at centre back with Clayton joining Joe Gater, Dan Bayliss and Robb Sheridan in
