Bracknell Town manager Carl Davies has pulled off a transfer coup with the signing of National League defender Matt Day.
Day who started his career at Portsmouth before moving to Oxford United will be most known to Berkshire non league fans for a seven year spell at Hungerford Town under manager Bobby Wilkinson.
When Wilkinson left Hungerford to take over National League side Wealdstone, Day was his first signing.
Day also spent a brief spell on loan at Slough Town in March of this year and we are sure Bracknell fans will be delighted with his signing.

Impressive
It’s been an impressive summer of transfer business for Bracknell with Day’s former Hungerford team mate Scott Rees signing alongside Thatcham Town striking duo Josh Helmore and Liam Ferdinand as well as Flackwell Heath defenders James Tripp and Tom Willment.
There’s every reason to believe the Robins can realistically aim for a top ten finish in the Bostik League South Central Division.
