Ascot United retain goalkeeper Lee Allen and captain Louis Bouwers

Hellenic League Premier Division side Ascot United are reporting on their twitter account the re-signings of captain Louis Bouwers and goalkeeper Lee Allen as well as a host of captures.

The players aren’t officially registered with the Hellenic League until the 1st July but the Yellamen’s new management team are wasting no time in putting together a squad for the 2018/19 season.

Allen was impressive between the sticks for Ascot, making 45 appearances in his debut season at the Racecourse Ground while Bouwers wasn’t far behind with 42 in all competitions and one goal.

Callum Carlisle has also re-signed with the club.

Signings

Joining the duo are left back Fabeine Etienne who was with Maidenhead United’s under 18 side and Magpies under 23s  Nathan Minhas, Jordan Brown and Kai Walters. Minhas played at the recent CONIFA World Cup and scored four times for Panjab according the to the Ascot twitter feed.

During an announcement blitz, the Yellamen confirmed that forme Burnham, Bracknell Town and Maidenhead United defender Tom Baddeley was joining along with Chris Ellis from Camberley Town and Dan Price from Chertsey Town.
