With the Hellenic League registration window slamming shut on Friday 31st March we felt it would be a good time at Football in Bracknell to do daily transfer updates.
It could well be a busy few days with Bracknell Town perhaps trying to find the final piece of the jigsaw to gain promotion out of the Hellenic League Premier, or perhaps Ascot United will sign a few in order to help them avoid the drop to Hellenic Division One.
Binfield have signed former Ascot United, Thatcham Town and Flackwell Heath left-back Joel Jacobs (pictured above, centre).
The full-back made his Moles debut in Monday evening’s B3018 derby clash against Bracknell Town.
Jacobs scored a late free kick against Bracknell in February 2017 to earn the Heathens a 1-1 draw with the Robins at Larges Lane, however Jacobs couldn’t do the same this time around with his new side going down 0-1 on the night.
Windsor have added youth player Edward Port to their squad. Port is a midfielder who has played for Windsor’s youth side this season. He did not feature in his side’s 4-4 draw against Woodley on Monday evening.
In other Hellenic League related news Woodley United’s home fixture against Royal Wootton Bassett Town has been scheduled for Friday 13th April.
It will be a busy time at Scours Lane from now until the end of the season with Highmoor Ibis and Woodley attempting to fit in their remaining fixtures rescheduled during the terrible recent weather.
