Binfield have boosted their forward line with the addition of Joe Grant from Hellenic Premier Division neighbours Highmoor-IBIS.
The forward heads to Hill Farm Lane after scoring four goals in eight games for IBIS last season.
Grant – not to be confused with his namesake at Bracknell Town – has been training with Roger Herridge’s side over the summer and is according to the clubs twitter account ‘a player with huge potential, he is a hard working forward that knows where the goal is.’

Herridge has moved quickly to bolster his attacking options following the departure of top scorer Liam Ferdinand to Bracknell and has youngster Luke Hayden on the books along with another new signing Danny Langford from Thames Valley Premier League side Newbury.
Langford was joint top scorer in the TVPL with Liam Bushay and Daniel Donegan last season – although his 25 goals came in 14 games compared to the respective 23 and 22 appearances made by his rivals.
It's like seeing ya ex changing her Facebook status to "in a relationship" 😪😪😪

Grant’s two brothers also play in the Hellenic Premier Division and have moved on from Highmoor – Alfie has signed for Wantage Town (who Binfield play on the opening day) and Harry has reportedly signed for Thatcham Town.
