Former striker makes a return to Wokingham & Emmbrook

Binfield have seen a second striker depart Hill Farm Lane after Matt Jones joined Woodley United as Luke Scope re-joins former club Wokingham & Emmbrook.

Scope scored a solitary goal in thirteen appearances but had not played for Roger Herridge’s since Saturday 8th October’s home defeat against Brimscombe & Thrupp.

Satsuma’s manage Clive McNelly was delighted to recapture the clubs prolific goalscore and thank Binfield secretary Rob Challis and manager Herridge for helping the transfer through.

McNelly said: “Luke is a great signing for us and should give us all a lift in what has been a disappointing season so far. Luke will go straight into the squad for the clash with Chalfont Wasps on Saturday.

“He pace, power and goal scoring ability should help us turn a good performances into wins rather than narrow defeats or draws!”
