Bracknell Town’s facebook page is reporting that former Binfield and Thatcham Town striker Ian Davies has signed for the Larges Lane club.
The prolific ex-Moles front man looks set to join former boss Mark Tallentire at Larges Lane after making 16 appearances for Thatcham last season scoring nine goals despite starting on the bench for 11 games as the Waterside Park club sealed a runners-up spot in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League.
During the 2014/15 season Davies scored 28 goals in 40 games as Binfield finished 6th in the league.
If Bracknell boss Tallentire keeps hold of last seasons top-scorer Adam Cornell then it raises the prospect of a serious top four challenge from the Robins.

It is worth remembering that while players can sign forms for a club now, no player is officially registered with the Hellenic League until the beginning of July – this date was 1st July for the 2015/16 season.
Ins and outs
Bracknell Town have already announced they are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Garry Aulsberry posted a departing message on his facebook page. The former Robins number one spent 18 months at Larges Lane while former Beaconsfield SYCOB manager Geoff Warner has been appointed first team coach.
